Effective: April 21, 2026 · Rev 1.4
This Privacy Policy explains how Foundry Pixel ("Foundry Pixel," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use Mugzilla (the "App").
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed in connection with your use of the App and any related support communications.
When you choose to use Mugzilla's photo-based features, the photos you submit are transmitted for processing so the App can generate AI commentary. We use submitted photos only to provide the requested result, operate the App, and for the other purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Photos are not used for advertising or AI model training.
Roast history, saved results, streak data, preferences, and similar app data may be stored locally on your device. This information remains on your device unless you delete it, uninstall the App, or choose to share it.
Subscriptions and purchase status are handled through Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card number. We and our service providers may process purchase status, entitlement status, receipt-related information, and related transaction metadata needed to unlock paid features, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, and provide support.
If you contact us for support or send us an email, we may process your name, email address, message contents, attachments, and any other information you choose to provide.
Like most online services, we and our service providers may automatically process limited technical and diagnostic information such as IP address, device or app identifiers, timestamps, crash data, request metadata, abuse-prevention signals, and similar troubleshooting or security information needed to operate, secure, and improve the App.
We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If that changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
We use information to:
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may disclose information to:
We do not maintain a user-facing server library of uploaded photos.
Submitted photos are processed for the purpose of generating a result and are not intentionally retained by us longer than reasonably necessary to service that request.
Limited temporary copies or related technical records may exist briefly in memory, caches, logs, or service-provider systems as part of normal request processing.
These temporary records are retained only where reasonably necessary to maintain security, prevent abuse, debug service issues, recover from errors, or comply with legal obligations.
History, saved results, preferences, and similar local app data remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App.
Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and related providers may retain purchase and subscription records in accordance with their own legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and operational requirements.
If you contact us, we may retain those communications for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law.
Depending on how you use the App, you may be able to:
Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of certain personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. Those rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
Because some subscription and transaction data is handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat, requests relating specifically to those records may also need to be directed to the relevant provider.
Because uploaded photos are not intentionally retained by us beyond request handling, there is generally no persistent server-side photo gallery or library for us to retrieve or delete later.
If you have questions about a specific privacy request, you can contact us at support@foundrypixel.com.
The App is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to investigate and address the issue.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required by law, we will take appropriate steps to protect personal information transferred across borders.
If you are a California resident, this section applies to you.
In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information, depending on how you use the App:
We collect this information from you, your device, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and our service providers.
We use and disclose this information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information, and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable, subject to legal exceptions. To make a request, contact us at support@foundrypixel.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version and revise the Effective Date and Revision number above.
